Register for the 2026 TOEA Workshop TODAY!
We are thrilled to host the conference at the Texas Tech Outdoor Center in Junction, Texas from October 2 - 4, 2026.
The Texas Outdoor Education Association (TOEA) is a non-profit education community that promotes bringing the outdoors into our classrooms and our classrooms to the world. TOEA offers an annual conference where educators from across Texas can share ideas with one another.
The TOEA shall be an organization of individuals and groups with a common interest in outdoor education working toward the attainment of an appreciation, understanding and wise use of the total environment by all people.
TOEA's membership includes PK-12 teachers (physical education, fine arts, science, math, and more), college professors, camp directors and counselors, employees of organizations like Texas Parks and Wildlife, conservation and wildlife associations, and more!
Membership in TOEA provides you with connections to other leaders in Texas (PK-12 teachers, university professors, employees of parks/recreation programs, educational administrators, camp directors, and more). Members receive a quarterly electronic newsletter, opportunities to connect with other TOEA members during the year, access to informative social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn), and opportunity to attend the annual conference at a very reasonable rate. Membership for professionals is only $20/year and students pay only $10/year.
Membership can be paid for any time during the year and does not include conference registration. You must be a member of TOEA to attend the annual conference and can purchase your membership fee separately or together with conference registration.
